Webinar: Future priorities in data management and scientific computing, competence development, and collaboration
Time: Monday 23 November 2020 at 12.00–15.00
Platforms: Teams and Howspace
The Development programme for data management and scientific computing (DL2021) organises the webinar jointly with the Expert forum for scientific computing. The annual event has been organised since 2017 when the development programme was launched.
The webinar includes both inspiring presentations, one joint and two parallel interactive sessions. We invite the participants to discuss the future priorities in data management and scientific computing. Furthermore, we are looking forward to hearing your views on creating a national competence network for scientific computing in the parallel session A. The parallel session B will address the collaboration between academic research and companies in computing and data-intensive research. The EuroHPC/LUMI supercomputing environment will be available in 2021 for customers and it will provide new opportunities for versatile collaboration.
