Cultural exports and market entries

Culture is a profitable business only for rare Finnish artists and companies in the field of culture, and as an industry it is very susceptible to economic trends. The promotion of cultural exports aims to create more sources of income and workplaces in the field of culture.


The discretionary government transfers for cultural exports, granted by the Ministry of Education and Culture, are targeted at productisation, marketing, networking and branding, for which the small enterprises in the field of culture usually do not have resources for.
