The Ministry of Education and Culture will launch an open online brainstorming discussion on promoting cultural diversity in arts and culture. The open online brainstorming will be kept open until 10 June.

The online brainstorming gathers views and ideas from experts working in different fields of arts and culture and with different backgrounds on key development measures.

By taking part in this brainstorming, you can express your ideas for new openings that can support participation, both as users and developers of services and as artists and producers of creative work.

The results of this online brainstorming will be utilised in the work of the Ministry's working group (explained below) and in the policy proposals to be prepared.

The online brainstorming is available in Finnish, Swedish and English.

Background

One of the main aims in the Government Programme of Prime Minister Sanna Marin is to strengthen cultural dialogue, interaction, inclusion and equality in the field of culture. To this end, the Ministry of Education and Culture has appointed a working group to prepare proposals for policies to strengthen the inclusion of people of foreign origin and to promote cultural diversity in arts and culture.
